Dr. Christopher Jones’ calling to medicine came during a college visit to a village in rural Zaire (Democratic Republic of the Congo) where he saw the enormous benefit of medical expertise in places of great need. Originally from Eastern Washington, Chris received his medical degree from the University of Washington and trained in pediatrics at Loyola University in Chicago.. He and his wife Kara specifically re-located to Seattle to serve the urban community here. They are the proud parents of three young children and live in Rainier Valley. -

Dr. Patricia Scott is passionate about creating and supporting environments where children thrive. During college, exposure to the community development philosophy of Dr. John Perkins ignited a deep passion for justice in healthcare delivery and spurred Patricia’s pursuit of medicine. Patricia received her medical degree from Georgetown University and completed her pediatrics residency at the University of California San Francisco. She spends her free time with her husband John and their three children, and her weekends cheering at sporting events. -
Victor Hsiao, MD, Board Certified in Pediatrics
Pediatrician
Dr. Victor Hsiao grew up in Redmond, WA, and studied at Princeton University before attending medical school at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. During medical school, he spent a year in Taiwan serving youth in the foster care and juvenile justice systems. He then completed his pediatric and chief residency at the University of Washington and Seattle Children’s Hospital, including a year in Alaska focused on primary care and community health. He's passionate about walking alongside children, teenagers, and their families, helping them thrive holistically. As a child of immigrants and having moved many times over his lifetime, he especially values supporting young people through questions about identity, transitions, and belonging. Outside of work, he loves being outdoors, reading, podcasts, and spending time with his church community.

Thanh Kirkpatrick, MD, MPH
Pediatrician
Dr. Thanh Kirkpatrick is a graduate of the University of Vermont College of Medicine, and holds a Master of Public Health in Health Administration from Loma Linda University. She completed her internship at Loma Linda Children’s Hospital and her residency at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Prior to HopeCentral, Thanh spent four years as a pediatrician at Esperanza Health Center in inner-city Philadelphia and 6 years moonlighting as a pediatric hospitalist at Bryn Mawr Hospital. She came to the U.S. as a Vietnamese refugee and understands the struggles of immigrant families. She has a passion for serving immigrant patients and for outreach to the Vietnamese community. Thanh and her husband Dr. James Kirkpatrick, a cardiologist, have three children.

Priscilla Nguyen, LMFT
Behavioral Health Clinician
Priscilla Nguyen is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Certified Medical Family Therapist. She is a graduate of Seattle Pacific University’s nationally accredited Marriage and Family Therapy Program. Priscilla practices through a holistic bio-psycho-social-spiritual therapeutic perspective working as a core member of the collaborative care team to address children’s mental health care needs and to facilitate improvements in overall functioning. During her free time, Priscilla enjoys exploring all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer and playing/coaching volleyball.
