New Behavioral Health Services at HopeCentral!
HopeCentral is deepening our investment in behavioral health services! These new staff and services will create more resources for all children served by HopeCentral’s pediatric primary care as well as specialized resources for developmental delay. Since our clinic launched in 2014, providing behavioral health services in-clinic has been a top priority, and we are excited to broaden these services to the families in our community.
Thanks to a generous grant from the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust, HopeCentral will welcome two new staff members to our team this year: a Behavioral Health Clinician, who will work with our primary care team supporting patients with anxiety, depression and ADHD, and a second Psychologist tasked with building out our new suite of services focused on developmental delay called HopeCentral Cares. We are also hiring for a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) to launch an Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Day Treatment program.
Primary Care Integrated Behavioral Health
Our new Behavioral Health Clinician will work closely with our primary care team to conduct short-term behavioral health interventions. Using the Collaborative Care Model, they will work in tandem with our providers to treat patients with anxiety, depression and ADHD, and ensure they are getting the support they need both at HopeCentral and with our referral partners.
HopeCentral Cares
We are launching a new population-based, integrated suite of services designed to improve access to therapies for children with developmental delay and their families. HopeCentral Cares will focus on short-term interventions for preschool-age children, starting with the ABA Day Treatment Program and the RUBI parent education program for children with autism. The ABA Day Treatment Program provides preschool-age children with short-term, early-intervention ABA therapy in a group setting, and provides a solid foundation for any further specialty therapies that might be needed. The RUBI Parent Education Program empowers parents with tools to navigate their child’s diagnosis and reinforces therapies at home.
We are actively seeking qualified candidates for the BHC, psychologist, and BCBA positions! If you know someone who would be a great fit for our team, please reach out to Dave Kwok, HopeCentral Executive Director, at dkwok@hopecentralhealth.org.
Our goal remains to listen and respond to the felt needs in our community, and provide outstanding care that enables every child to thrive. We will update this page as these new services become available and look forward to supporting our families in these new ways!
