Tis the Season—For Asthma, Allergies and Colds

Winter is a wonderful time of celebration and fun activities, but it can also bring some specific health-related challenges.

As Dr. Christopher Jones, one of our HopeCentral pediatricians, notes, “This season brings viruses which can trigger asthma; and molds tend to multiply triggering allergies and asthma attacks as well.”

While there isn’t a cure (yet) for colds, asthma and allergies, you can help manage the impact. Here are some resources and helpful tips from King County’s Public Health Department related to asthma (that are also good for allergies).
